Rapper Snoop lion donates money to the funeral of Tiana Rick, a 6-year-old girl who was shot and killed.

The amount of money donated is undisclosed, but Snoop feels things need to change.

"Little 6-year-old girls are not supposed to die from a gunshot. But it keeps happening," Snoop said in a statement. "Beautiful Tiana loved to play the piano — she had a whole life ahead of her which she should have been filled with love and music."

Tiana and her father Tyrell were shot in Moreno Valley sunday night, witnesses tell KTLA-5. Two men walked up to them, asked a question, then opened fire. Tiana passed away at the hospital.

Rapper The Game, pledged $10,000 for Tiana's family as part of the Robin Hood Project, his pledge to donate $1 million before Christmas.

"To lose a child is to lose your soul," The Game said. "My prayers are with her family."

Snoop lunched an anti-violence campaign named after a song he released this year.

"We've lost too many kids to senseless gun violence — and these circumstances inspired the launch of my anti-violence campaign in 2013 to get communities to embrace #NoGunsAllowed," Snoop said. "Tiana's loss reminds us of the urgent work we still have left to do. Love and peace with her family."

The investigation is still going. According to Riverside County Sheriff's Sgt. Lisa McConnell, the shooting is believed to be gang related even though Tiana's father was not known to be involved in any gangs.
