By now it is well known that rapper Gucci Mane had a prolonged twitter rant over the last week, where he called out a bunch of male rappers, and claimed to have slept with many female artists. On Wednesday Gucci claimed that his twitter account was hacked and has since deleted the account.

The rant consisted of 109 tweets, most of which were aimed at either male rappers for not being "real", or at female rappers, claiming he slept with them.

On Wednesday the "Wasted" rapper claimed that his twitter account was hacked by an ex manager. He tweeted "My ex manager hack my acct str8 up" reports Hotnewhiphop. Gucci and his former manager, Kevin "Coach K" Lee, had recently stopped working together as Gucci's deal with Atlantic Records ended.

Hours after Gucci claimed that his twitter was hacked, he went on to completely delete his entire account reports XXL. Originally he had just deleted all of the tweets that the alleged hacker sent out, but later decided to remove himself from twitter completely at least for the time being.

All in all this seems like a publicity stunt for Gucci Mane as he was set to release an albumon Tuesday night. He was able to garner a lot of attention for the rant that occurred on his twitter page, in advance of the album release. Before he claimed his account was hacked Gucci promoted the free album, named "Diary Of A Trap God", on his twitter.

It seems as though this saga is finally over, and although we will never know the full story, and what actually happened, we have some sort of closure on this hot topic.
