Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” has not wrecked her career to pieces after all. After we have seen her controversial video and her skimpy outfits and witnessed her performances that are still causing some much commotion, we can say that Miley at least didn’t go wrong when it comes to one thing… Her music.

Lets be honest, “Wrecking Ball” is a beautiful song. And if we don’t pay so much attention to the video (which gained so much negative attention), the quality of the song shines through.

We have also seen so many covers of Miley’s song, but this one we were not really expecting. The talented HAIM sisters have decided to their own cover for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and spice it up a little by lending it their signature sound. We’re talking- strong and clear guitar riff, mellow and emotional keyboards, addictive beat and Este Haim’s powerful and heartfelt interpretation of the lyrics. “Wrecking Ball” has been transformed into a charismatic pop coolness.

HAIM’s debut album Days Are Gone comes out September 30!
