The Killers have released a video for their new “Shot At The Night” single! The song that was produced by M83’s Anthony Gonzalez will be featured on their greatest hits album titled Direct Hits. The album comes out November 11.
The uber romantic video tells a story of a couple brought together by fate. The actress Bella Heathcote, plays a hotel maid caught up in the monotony and emptiness of her everyday life. In a city like Las Vegas, where luxury is everywhere you turn and possibilities lie around every corner, there must be something planned for a lonely girl, tired of her dull life. In a strange twist of fate, she meets a well-off guy (played by Max Minghella), who turns her world upside down and finally brings back excitement to her life. The video is composed of romantic scenes, worthy of a fairytale. Carried away with love and blinded by the Las Vegas’ lights, a very ordinary girl, with a very ordinary life, finally got her “shot at the night.”
