There has been so much commotion around Sky Ferreira lately. And all the attention she’s been getting was a negative one. The things in her personal life have escalated so much that we have almost forgotten that she has some big and more positive things happening for her. Like, the ones regarding her music career.
First, she is releasing her debut album Night Time, My Time on October 29. Second, she is releasing a video for the lead single “You’re Not The One.” So far, Sky has only revealed the teaser for the video and judging by what we can see and hear, it’s really good. Visually, she kind of resembles young Madonna. When it comes to her new sound, we can say that this song is reminiscent of everything that’s awesome about 80s (the style, sound and vocals). It is a pop track, but still very Sky Ferreira. It will be interesting to see what direction has Ferreira decided to take musically, when the album comes out.
