This week on Web Therapy, Matt LeBlanc makes an appearance as Nick the gambling addict. His wife has a problem with his how much online gambling he does - his fifth wife. Fiona feels terrible for him - she doesn’t know why his fifth wife is giving him a problem. In fact, she suggests he find a new one. Nick keeps saying it isn’t an addiction - and Fiona totally agrees. Apparently, Nick has been in a losing streak and says he can stop as soon as he makes his money back. Nick also sells used car parts online - with which he makes a pretty penny - and Fiona says it isn’t fair for a wife to butt in on her husband’s playtime. “Winners play big,” Fiona tells him. During their counseling, Nick wins $60,000 playing online poker. Fiona calls herself his good luck charm - and he suggests sticking around during a tournament he’s playing in that night, to which Fiona reminds him that it’s nice to tip your good luck charms around 10%. Nick’s connection fizzles for a second before he quickly agrees on 1% and disconnects.
Fiona’s next call is from Augie. Fiona was worried because after attempting to find Augie and Blair’s blog, she kept getting “URL Unavailable.” A girl is behind him - Blair has decided to make an executive decision and she came over to meet him eight days ago and hasn’t left Augie’s side since. He’s understandably suffocated - so Fiona’s next suggestion is for them to separate for a while - for Augie to go into the next room to Skype again. Augie goes in the closet - and as soon as they see each other on their respective screens, they start feeling how they did before - and again, almost immediately begin having cyber sex (even though they’ve been having sex the last eight days).
Fiona’s next calls is from an exhausted Jerome - he got worried because he heard some weird noises from the other room - which was Fiona getting really excited about winning over some online poker. Jerome’s got problems, though. His marriage is on the rocks and he wants a friend that he’s not going to get from Fiona.
The next day, Fiona gets a call from Nick. She was supposed to be his lucky charm, but she didn’t show up. He was furious about a guy named “F in Philly” who cleaned everybody out in the tournament. Nick says he’s going to get him - and tells Fiona that the “used car part business” doesn’t actually mean “used car parts.” It’s actually more of a mob business, and he’s easily able to find anybody on the Internet. He starts searching and Fiona, scared, says she’s got another client and hangs up.
Next for Fiona is a call from a woman named Sylvie who has some work problems. She started a relationship with a man at her workplace. This lasted several months, but eventually he started to pull away from her, so she started driving by his house all the time to check up on him. Then, to show him how much she cared, she let his dog out and brought it back to him. Unfortunately, he saw her let the dog out. In the lunchroom today, she confronted him a little forcefully, which resulted in she getting a demotion and he getting a promotion. Fiona suggests suing for sexual harassment, if the man she was with was in a position above her. Unfortunately for Sylvie, she was the one in the higher up position and he, afterward, actually got her job in his promotion. After learning that Sylvie works for a brand placement company - Fiona suggests using herself for brand placement to her clients. Sylvie finds this unethical. Fiona is insulted because she’s trying to help Sylvie. After realizing just how unethical Fiona is, Sylvie starts asking if Fiona actually helps any clients. Fiona then sends Sylvie a list of her clients. She starts talking unethical again until she receives a company email from her ex. Sylvie can’t believe that he’s got his arm around another woman in the email and immediately hangs up.
Fiona is checking her messages and has a voicemail from someone called Chris, who’s really excited to reconnect and get to know Fiona again. Fiona has no idea who she is, so she deletes the voicemail.
