Marina Shifrin quit her job for a web video company by creating a video of her own, in which she dances around the company’s offices in the middle of the night.
In the video, Shifrin shimmies and breaks it down throughout the office as text scrolls across the screen. She writes, “For almost two years I've sacrificed my relationships, time and energy for this job. And my boss only cares about quantity and how many views each video gets. So I figured I'd make ONE video of my own,” according to Yahoo News.
Shifrin ends the video with the text “I QUIT!” as she continues dancing.
Shifrin used the Kanye West’s song “Gone” as the background music to her video, which she posted on her personal Youtube account.
Shifrin is a writer, comedian, and waitress, according to her web page.
On the page, she also writes that there are only three things you need to know about her: “1. I love writing so much that I hate it. 2. My parents’ names are Olga and Vladimir. 3. I forgot the third one.”
