Wes Anderson is back and for fans of his extremely stylized films, he can’t be back soon enough. Just two years after 2012’s critically acclaimed Moonrise Kingdom, the Royal Tenenbaums filmmaker will be back in theaters with The Grand Budapest Hotel in March 2014. Fox Searchlight has released the first trailer for the film today.

In Grand Budapest, Ralph Fiennes takes a rare comic role as Gustave H., the proprietor of the hotel and a womanizer. He takes a lobby boy, played by Zero Moustafa, under his wing, right around the time that he gets involved with an older woman (Tilda Swinton under heavy makeup) who dies. That sparks a fight over the woman’s fortune and the search for a Renaissance painting. Meanwhile, Moustafa’s lobby boy falls for Saoirse Ronan, who for some reason is wearing a face tattoo of Mexico.

The all-star cast also includes Bill Murray, Adrien Brody, Owen Wilson, Jeff Goldblum, Edward Norton, Jason Schwartzman, Jude Law and Tom Wilkinson.

Yesterday, Fox Searchlight announced that the film will hit theaters on March 7, 2014.

It’s worth noting that the trailer is in the 1.33:1 ratio, although a couple of images of the cast are in a wider ratio, so it’s possible that the film may switch. That will be one more surprise for fans to look forward to.
