This week’s featured app is Room on the Broom. This app is based a children’s picture book by author Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler.
This app is right on time for Halloween, and would be some good entertainment for young children.
The app has a few games for youngsters; one included flying around with the Witch’s cat and spelling given words. It’s just a simple learning game that can also be fun.
Theirs is a funny game where kids can help a dragon catch French fries in his mouth. There are obstables like bugs and other miscellaneous items. The dragon doesn’t want anything but fries so he will gag if you catch anything else.
When playing in the app there is a game, where players can fly the witch around and connect stars to make different fun shapes.
If you’d like a fun innocent game for the kids to play on a car ride, where they can learn to spell or make their knowledge of certain words more concrete, this is the game for that. If you’ve read this book with your child they would like this app because it makes a good read more interactive.
