Westboro Baptist Church has been encouraging a boycott of Blake Shelton's concerts, fueling a Twitter battle between the country singer and the organization. After downing a few drinks, Shelton's jabs got verbal.
When a TMZ reporter asked Shelton if he had anything to say about Westboro Baptist Church and their picketing, The Voice judge replied, "Westboro Baptist can blow me. Yeah, really, they can. Can you quote me on that?"
Not only is WBC attempting to rally fans to boycott Shelton's concerts, the group also accused the “Boys 'Round Here” singer of having an affair and cheating on his wife Miranda Lambert.
Shelton had tipped back a few drinks and was leaving Usher's birthday party at Bootsy Bellows nightclub in West Hollywood.
Although he may have been drunk and speaking without thinking, Shelton has dissed the organization in the past. The Huffington Post reports that Shelton has run his mouth off on WBC before, taking to Twitter to respond to the group's actions.
Take a look at a few of the pieces of the Twitter battle below.
