The "Work Bitch" singer dropped the cover art for her highly anticipated album "Britney Jean" today, simply a picture of her with a neon heart and "Britney Jean". If that wasn't enough though for you, she also posted a hand written letter to her fans via her website.
Noting that she wanted to convey more than just the usual 140 characters that is limited on Twitter, she wrote "I poured my heart and soul into this album and it’s been an incredible journey." She goes on to thank the fans for their support over her career, and admits that she's been through a lot over the last few years but that it has helped with her songwriting. She goes on to say that some of the songs will be upbeat dances songs, but that " it was important to me that I show my strength, and my attitude, and my vulnerability" The last line reads " I am a performer. I am a Mom. I am funny. I am your friend! I am Britney Jean."
Although "Britney Jean" isn't released until December 3rd, the day after the pop star's 32nd birthday, she did also tease a new single, "Perfume" that will be available November 5th.
