Britney Spears has revealed her new album title, which is a nickname she received from her family. The title of her eighth album is called Britney Jean.

Spears revealed the album name while on a promotional tour for the album in the UK, explaining on Capital FM “it's like a term of endearment.”

She explained, “It's a personal album, and all my family, they always call me Britney Jean. It's like a term of endearment, and I just wanted to share that with my fans,” Entertainmentwise reports.

Britney Jean, which has the lead single “Work Bitch,” will come out on Dec. 3, two weeks ahead of the kick-off of her Vegas residency.

The album is a follow-up to Spears’ Femme Fatale (2011). It’s executive produced by Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am.

Her manager, Larry Rudolph, previously talked to MTV News about the album being much more than just “Work Bitch.”

“The album definitely is not just 'Work Bitch,' " he said. "This is a situation where there are multiple, multiple layers, things like you've never heard from her before. There's a lot that fans expect, but a lot that they don't ... She's written on every song on the album, which is a first for her, and it's a very personal album for her, and I think people are going to love it."
