The Voice judge Cee Lo Green is in trouble for slipping a drug into a woman’s drink.
The singer and songwriter is known for the hit song “Forget You” and is a judge on the show The Voice along with Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera.
Green's real name is Thomas DeCarlo Callaway. He was charged for slipping ecstasy into the drink of a 33-year-old woman he was dining with, reported ABC News. The charge can carry up to four years imprisonment for the entertainer.
Whether this will create a stain on him and his career is yet to be determined, but so far, things seem to be going in Green’s favor. The executive producer of The Voice, Mark Burnett, told TMZ, he will not fire Green.
Green’s manager, Andrew Jameson, spoke with The Wrap about whether this scandal will affect Green’s career: “I don't think it will affect his career negatively."
Although Burnett and Jameson are behind Green, how will his fans feel?
