Cee Lo Green won't be charged for sexual assault of a woman he allegedly drugged a year ago, but he will be charged with supplying ecstasy.
A year ago, TMZ reported that Green and a woman were at a downtown L.A. Sushi Restaurant in July 2012. The next morning, the woman claimed that she woke up naked in bed with Green, not being able to remember the night before.
Now, according to TMZ, the D.A. Is dropping the sexual assault charges due to insufficient evidence. Since the woman and Green had been dating for months and were already sexually involved, her case wasn't very strong. It was ruled that the "F**k You" singer had no intent of harming the woman.
During the case, Green denied the allegations and told officials they could investigate everything completely. A phone call with the singer proved that he was indeed in possession of ecstasy, but he did not admit to putting it in the woman's drink.
Green will, however, walk away with a felony charge for furnishing ecstasy and most likely a probation.
