Chris Brown was arrested on a felony assault charge after attacking a man outside of his Washington, D.C. hotel on Sunday morning.

A D.C. police spokesperson confirmed the “Fine China” singer, 24, was arrested in front of the W Hotel at 15th and Pennsylvania Avenue at 4:30am along with his bodyguard.

A source also told ABC News Brown will be held in jail until he can appear in front of a judge on Monday considering he’s already on probation.

Brown is still on probation from the 2009 incident in which he beat his then-girlfriend Rihanna. He agreed to a plea deal that same year for community service, five years of probation, as well as going to domestic violence counseling classes.

Sources told TMZ that Brown punched the other man in the face. The other man involved in the fight reportedly did not get physical with the singer in return and went to a local hospital to get checked out.

Brown hosted a party at Park and 14th nightclub in D.C. earlier on Saturday night. If convicted, Brown could face up to four years in prison.
