Rebekah Brook's and Andy Coulson’s six yearlong affair was exposed in court.

In 2012, Brook's, former chief executive of News International, was charged for obstructing a police investigation. Thecelebritycafe reported that Brooks, along with her husband, tried to deliberately keep information away from the police.

The newspaper, News of the World, was investigated in 2011 for hacking into people’s phones and e-mails and bribery.

The affair, which began in 1998, was exposed in court according to BBC News. The affair came to light, due to a saved letter stored on Brook’s computer.

The letter was written when Coulson tried to end their affair. "The fact is you are my very best friend, I tell you everything, I confide in you, I seek your advice, I love you, care about you, worry about you, we laugh and cry together,” she wrote.

Despite engaging in an affair of his own, Coulson confronted a colleague in a similar situation. Coulson confronted, then News of the World editor; David Blunkett about his affair with a married woman. Coulson told Blunkett, he found out about the affair through a reliable source, but it was through phone hacking. A recording of the confrontation was played for the court.

As the trial continues more affairs, recorded conversations, and secrets may be exposed.
