Days after Charlie Hunnam dropped out of Fifty Shades of Grey, Dakota Johnson, who has been cast as Anastasia Steele, is reportedly having the same struggles.
Although she has famous parents – Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson – she isn’t used to all of the press surrounding this major role.
"Dakota is having a very hard time dealing with all the press," a source told E! News about the 24-year-old actress. "When she first got the role, it was way too much for her."
The insider added, "It's been tough” for her.
Sons of Anarchy star, Hunnan, 33, cited his busy schedule for the reason he gave up playing Christian Grey but sources say it was the pressure that really got to him.
The “attention and the pressure was intense” and “he hates conforming and being told what to do. This role would force him to have to be something he is not,” sources said.
Producers haven’t announced who will fill in for Hunnam and the film will be released on Aug. 1, 2014.
