It is fitting that the next single off of Daughtry’s upcoming album would be a love letter to the genre that has made him a musical success. “Long Live Rock & Roll,” is a rock ‘n’ roll anthem that pays tribute to the genre. Including references to, The Beatles, Rolling Stones and many more. Even paying tribute to artists that passed away and left the industry too soon. Lyrically the song pays tribute to the classic rock ‘n’ roll area but the instrumentals do as well. The guitar rifts are large and up front. The songs feels like a classic rock ‘n’ roll anthem.

The song not only highlights Daughtry’s vocal range but his passion for his craft. This single will likely be another chart topping success for Daughtry.
