Actors David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reveal that they are willing to do another 'X-Files' film.
During the 20 anniversary of the first episode, Duchovny and Anderson appeared at The Paley Center for Media in New York to answer fan questions.
According to Associated Press, the two spoke positively about doing another film.
"All the principals are on board," Duchovny said. "Gillian and I want to do it, so it's really up to Twentieth Century Fox at this point."
X-Files creator, Chris Carter, is also on board.
"If it takes fan encouragement to get Fox interested in that then I guess that's what it would be," Anderson added.
The X-Files franchise produced over 200 episodes in its 9 seasons, as well as two films, The X Files (1998) and The X Files: I Want to Believe (2008).
Over the weekend, the two stars also appeared at New York's Comic-Con, and did a question and answer session via reddit.com.
Twentieth Century Fox has not yet responded to The Associated Press' email for comment.
