Deadmau5 will make stops in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru, all part of the Sunburn Arena, from March 14 to the 16 as a headliner of the EDM festival.
Shailendra Singh, managing director of Percept Ltd, an agency that organizes the EDM festival, also confirmed Deadmau5's appearance.
"Deadmau5 was a very awaited and exciting partnership for Sunburn," Singh said. "We are happy to be part of history when he goes live on 14th, 15th, 16th March 2014 in India. It will be beyond epic."
Other dance artists like Hardwell and Swedish House Mafia, have headlined India's EDM festival in the past.
Website lessthan3.com reported that Deadmau5 recently worked on dozens of new songs the past weekend.
He was also recently nominated for Best Canadian Act at the MTV European Music Awards.
