Sean "Diddy" Combs, will launch his new music network on Monday.

TV Guide reports that Revolt TV will offer round the clock broadcasts of music videos, news, interviews, and live performances.

The network will incorporate social media interactivity between on-air personalities and audience members, using Facebook, Twitter, Skype, and other media outlets.

"I think part of what's going to be attractive about Revolt is, it's almost like MTV was our first wife and she changed so much that she broke our heart and went for somebody with more money," Stephen Pitalo, a music video historian said.

According to the NY Daily News, Diddy was ready to take on the challenge of creating a new music network.

"There's no destination channel any more for music," Diddy said. "Revolt will become for music what ESPN is for sports and CNN is for news."

Rap will be a prominent genre on the new network, however, it will not be the only one.

"We'll also give a platform for electronica and alternative," Diddy said. "If it's happening in music, it will happen on Revolt."

Revolt TV will be available to Time Warner Cable and Comcast customers in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles only, but hope to expand soon.
