As a parent, it may seem crazy to shell out a lot of money on a Halloween costume your child may only use once. But when you go for the quality of Disney, you get more than just a Halloween costume.

My soon-to-be-three-year-old is obsessed with princesses. She just can't get enough of them. But little did I know that the kid who wouldn't even wear her costume last year would be dressed up non-stop this year. We have two costumes from the Disney store - a Minnie Mouse and an Ariel costume, and to say my daughter loves them in an understatement.

From the day they arrived and I mistakenly forgot to hide them until Halloween, she has taken them on and off literally dozens of times. The best part is - they have held up great! No signs of wear and tear yet. While the price tag is high on both costumes, it seems like it is well worth it, considering the amount of use we have already gotten out of them.

Another appealing thing as a parent is that both costumes are completely age appropriate. The Ariel costume is easy to wear, and has a tank top that hangs nicely and is comfortable. The Minnie Mouse costume looks like a party dress, but with Velcro closures on the back. Both are easy to put on for independent kids, and comfortable to wear for hours on end.

In my opinion these are totally worth the price, they will hopefully last for years to come and will bring hours of enjoyment beyond just Halloween. Just think - dress-up, sleep over parties, trips to Disney, you name it! Available at Disneystore.com or on Amazon.
