Drake wasn’t too happy once he heard Future criticize his album, which led him to kick Future off of his “Would You Like A Tour.” Following that, Future became furious and threatened to sue Drake $1.5 million over the tour. Now it looks like Drake and Future are settling their differences and will tour together after all.
According to Page Six, Future played his new album Honest at the Billboard magazine offices. Associate Editor Erika Ramirez talked about Future’s quotes.
“Not only is future’s #honest album interesting, so are his thoughts on Drake’s #NWTS album,” Ramirez said.
Future’s exact words about Drake’s album were:
“Drake made an album that is full of hits, but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do.” Future said.
Immediately, Drake was frustrated with the interview and told his agent that either Future gets fired or he’ll fire him. Future eventually was fired from the bill, and he was planning to sue Drake for up to $1.5 million for lost money.
HotNewHipHop reports that Beestroh of Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9 claims that the two have signed a contract that allows Future on the tour.
Another source told Hollywood Life that Future and Drake are trying to work things out. Future is hoping to join Drake on tour, so expect to see him next week.
Drake’s “Would You Like A Tour” is expected to kick off tomorrow Oct 18.
