While Edward Snowden may never be able to find a job in America, he has landed a job in Russia.

Snowden, a former contractor for the government, became famous or infamous, depending on how one views his actions, for exposing the American government for spying on its citizens and those outside America’s borders.

After Snowden went public he sought international asylum. When he sought asylum in Russia, he was holed up in Moscow’s airport for more than five weeks, waiting for an answer. Russia granted him a yearlong asylum, despite attempts by the American government to have him sent back to the United States.

Although charged with espionage, the U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder sent a note to Russia stating that the charges against Snowden would not lead to the death penalty, reported Thecelebritycafe July 26, 2013.

Snowden now has a job with a Russian website according to his lawyer, reported CNN. The name of the Russian website has not been disclosed to public to keep Snowden safe.
