Fiona Apple leaves the stage in tears after an audience member told the singer to 'get healthy.'

During her show in Portland, Oregon on October 3rd, Apple had to leave the show after breaking down in front of fans.

Rolling Stone reports that Apple had two songs left in her set of folk and pop tunes in Oregon's Newmark Theatre when a woman in the audience called out to the singer.

"Get healthy. We want to see you in ten years," the woman said.

"I am healthy! Who the f**k do you think you are?" Apple shouted back. "I want you to get the f**k out of here. I want the house lights on so I can watch you leave!"

"I saw you 20 years ago and you were beautiful!" the woman said as she was leaving.

A male audience member then called Apple a "has-been."

Apple spoke to the audience, calling it a "historically stupid night," The Oregonian reports.

Apple then went back to performing her song "Waltz(Better Than Fire)," when she broke down into tears, apologized to the audience, and then left the stage.

Apple's tour with California guitarist, Blake Mills, will continue through October.
