Two Florida men have outraged the internet by dressing as Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman for Halloween. The man dressed as Martin, the 17-year-old boy Zimmerman shot in February 2012, wore blackface.
A photo of the two men, with a woman in between, was posted on Facebook Friday. The woman is Caitlin Cimeno, who posted the photo, according to The Smoking Gun. “Happy Halloween from Zimmerman & trayvon,” she wrote in the photo caption. The man in the Martin costume is wearing a grey hoodie with a blood stain over his heart. He has blackface on, while the gut in the Zimmerman outfit has his hand to his head, as if he’s pointing a gun. The man dressed as Zimmerman is wearing a T-shirt that reads “Neighborhood Watch.”
The Smoking Gun identified the two men. William Filene, 25, is the man dressed as Martin. He has a criminal record, including a felony grand theft auto charge in June. Greg Cimeno, 22, was Zimmerman and works for a carpentry firm. They both live in Cape Coral, Florida.
Cimeno has since pulled her Facebook profile, but not before the photo could go viral. “Anything for the laugh,” Greg Cimeno commented on the photo. Some of their friends didn’t think it was funny either but Greg wrote “Not too funny. It’s f**king hilarious!!!”

The site also noted other inflammatory words on her Facebook page. “First of all, sorry Hun but mommy lied to you & secondly if I was wearing a shirt that said something like the truth 'white girls rock' I would be stared at and called a racist cracker,” she allegedly wrote under a photo of her wearing a shirt that read “Black Girls Rock.”
As Buzzfeed notes, many took to Twitter to criticize the shocking photo. The site wondered if it was the most offensive costume ever and pointed out that others thought it would be funny to dress as Martin as well.
