The two murderers who escaped a Florida prison have been found and returned to prison.
ABC News reports that the two convicted murderers, who escaped by forging release papers, were caught in Panama city.
Joseph Jenkins, 34, convicted in 1998 of first-degree murder, was released Sep. 27. Charles Walker, 34, convicted of second-degree murder in 1999, was released Oct. 8.
Judge Belvin Perry's name was forged on the documents, The judge, known for the Casey Anthony case, told ABC News:: "They cut and pasted my signature and affixed it to the order."
"They had to have outside help, because in one of those documents, it was actually filed here in the courthouse," he added.
Jenkins and Walker were found at the Coconut Grove Motor Inn in Panama City, hours after their family held a press conference, begging the two to confess.
"I am asking you, Joseph Jenkins, turn yourself in to the appropriate authorities so we can end this episode of our lives," Henry Pierson, Joseph's father-figure said. "We love you, and we thank you.
CNN reported that the two men aren't to blame.
We've had a system failure that resulted in two individuals being erroneously released," Florida, Sheriff Jerry Demings said. "...This is very frustrating for all of us who work in the system."
"...it's not our job to question what the court does," Misty Cash, Department of Corrections spokeswoman said. "The fault does not lie on us. No one is getting in trouble here for what happened."
