Four Oklahoma inmates escaped county jail over the weekend using a shower vent. They currently are still on the run.
According to USA Today, the four managed to break out of what was called an "escape-proof" jail near Oklahoma City. The four escapees are Anthony Mendonca, Triston Cheadle, Prime Brown and Dylan Ray Three Irons.
Three inmates made their escape while they were waiting to be transferred to state prison and the other to federal prison.
The four men were able to escape using a small door that sits above their showers, used for maintenance access.
Fox News reports that Caddo County Sheriff Gene Cain said that the small door led the men to an area not part of the jail.
Cain said, "All they had to do was push the door and walk out because it's not in the jail."
Today notes that the county jail was tipped off to the four men's escape when a call came in about men in orange jump suits running away from the jail.
