Gluttony now comes in burger form. PYT restaurant in Philadelphia launched its deep-fried Twinkie burger Tuesday, and its just as much of a calorie bomb as it sounds.
According to Zagat, crispy bacon and American cheese top a half-pork half-beef patty. This already rich burger center is surrounded by two battered and fried Twinkies — cream filling included.
“We are really sorry about this, but someone had to do it,” the restaurant said in a post on its Facebook page.
It’s no surprise that that someone was PYT. The popular burger joint already created a lasagna burger, a spaghetti burger, and a mini Krispy Kreme burger.
Eager customers arrived at PYT before its doors opened on Tuesday in anticipation of the Twinkie burger, ABC News reports. The first 15 sold were free. Now burger enthusiasts can try the burger for $12.
If a deep-fried Twinkie burger is the food creation you’ve been waiting for, then head over to PYT immediately. This one of a kind burger will only be available for one week.
