What's better than a name you can trust when it comes to baby care? I used Johnson and Johnson baby products when I was a kid and I can still remember the smell (and taste) of their original no more tangles shampoo.
When I became a mother I naturally wanted whatever was going to be safest and gentlest for my daughter. Especially when it came to skin care. I have sensitive skin and was concerned my daughter might too. So I tried numerous expensive, organic, all natural, low foam, no paraben, unscented or naturally scented products. And you know what? I couldn't settle on anything I really liked. And truth be told, her skin was still bumpy and dry.
Recently I was given the opportunity to review some new Johnson and Johnson products including their baby oil gels. I love the idea. Unlike the original baby oil formulation that comes out as a runny oil, this is baby oil suspended in a gel. Its genius! I can't tell you how many times I have gotten oil all over everything because it came out too fast or ran through my fingers.
Available in a variety of formulations: Shea and Cocoa Butter, Aloe Vera and Vitamin E, Lavender, and Original Baby Oil, these are perfect for after the bath when skin is still wet. The whole family is using them and not only do we smell great, but my husband commented just the other day how much softer my daughters skin is.
I'm still a fan of the original oil for myself, and the head to toe baby wash is a staple in our house. As sensitive as my daughters skin is, this doesn't seem to bother her at all.
Johnson and Johnson has withstood the test of time and their products make great stocking stuffers and gift basket items at holiday time!
