The Jonas Brothers have confirmed that they will be calling it quits just three weeks after canceling their tour.
Joe called their decision to sever ties professionally a “unanimous decision,” with youngest brother Nick starting the conversation during an Oct. 3 meeting.
"I was feeling kind of trapped. I needed to share my heart with my brothers,” he told People.
Kevin, who’s expecting his first child with wife Danielle, said "It's over for now," with Nick adding, "It's really hard to say 'forever.’ We're closing a chapter, for sure."
According to ABC News, the Jonas Brothers started their band in 2005 and shot to fame soon after, even getting a Grammy nomination in 2008. They starred in the documentary Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream in 2010 but have since gone on to do solo projects.
Their break-up doesn’t come as too big of a surprise, as their manager confirmed there was a “deep rift within” the band back when they announced the cancelation of their 19-date tour.
