Well, it’s a sad day for Jonas Brothers fans. The Jonas Brothers have announced that they are officially breaking up.
According to E! Online, the band of brothers notified fans of the split on Tuesday, October 29th, three weeks after they revealed that a “deep rift” caused the cancellation of their upcoming tour.
The oldest brother, Kevin, said, “It’s over for now.” Kevin and his wife Danielle are eagerly anticipating the birth of their first.
21-year-old Nick also shared, “It's really hard to say 'forever.' We're closing a chapter, for sure."
Once the boys cancelled the tour on October 3rd, rumors swirled that middle brother Joe was struggling with addiction. However, it seems that the band simply felt “trapped.”
Nick revealed, “I was feeling kind of trapped. I needed to share my heart with my brothers.”
Singer Joe Jonas echoed his younger brother’s statement saying that they all felt the same way. “It was a unanimous decision,” said the 24-year-old.
New York Daily News reports that the pop stars seemed to be headed towards a break up in October, when they deleted their band Twitter account and cancelled their fall tour.
