If you’re looking to take the family to the movies on Christmas Day, but don’t think the young children will enjoy American Hustle, you can always take them to Believe, the new Justin Bieber concert film. Open Road announced today that a film from the “As Long As You Love Me” singer’s latest tour will hit theaters that day.
The film was directed by John M. Chu, who also directed Justin Bieber: Never Say Never in 2011. He also directed the second and third Step Up movies, as well as G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
According to E! News, the film will also include new interviews with Bieber, Ludacris, Usher, manager Scooter Braun, Rodney Jerkins, Mike Posner and others.
“I am so excited to be involved in this movie, and so happy to be able to give back to my fans, especially during the holiday season,” Bieber said in a statement, reports The Hollywood Reporter. “Jon Chu and my team have done a wonderful job creating a special moment for Beliebers worldwide, and I can't wait till Christmas Day when the movie will be in theaters everywhere.”
THR notes that iTunes is also releasing a new Bieber song every Monday before the film comes.
So, if you have Bieber on the brain (unlike Erin Andrews, who was accused of almost calling Justin Verlander “Bieber”), you will be happy to know that you can see him on the big screen again starting on Dec. 25.
