Justin Timberlake’s Runner, Runner co-star Anthony Mackie is revealing an impromptu part of a scene he shares with the “Suit & Tie” singer. In a new interview he jokes that he slapped Timberlake, which isn’t in the script, because he has a perfect life.

The film comes out Friday, Oct. 4, so fans can see the scene for themselves. But in an interview with MTV News, Mackie says he “slapped the sh-- out of him."

“You know it's funny, I told Justin, he and Ben [Affleck] are probably the luckiest guys on Earth. They both have beautiful, amazing wives — rich wives,” he said about Affleck’s wife Jennifer Garner and Timberlake’s wife of almost a year, Jessica Biel.

“They both cannot lose. He puts out an album, it goes platinum. Ben wins a poker championship. He wins Oscars. He directs movies. So I just told Justin, I want to bring you down to Earth a little bit. Just smack you up. So that's why I took it. None of that was in the script, I just went on set and slapped the sh-- out of him,” Mackie explained.

Mackie, who plays an FBI agent in the film, said he didn’t know Timberlake before they starting filming.

"No, no, no. He has too many ethnic friends to know me. You can't go over two. He has Timbaland, and —" he said, adding "Oh, now I'm #2!"
