Not so long ago, Katy Perry was reluctant to reveal the details about her next single. But has promised us that it is going to be a “universal love song” that “everyone’s gonna be able to relate to; no matter the age, male or female…”

Now the veil of mystery has finally been lifted, it revealed a beautiful, raw, sentimental ballad that has a potential to turn into a timeless love anthem.

“Unconditionally” is a second single that was released from her fourth studio album Prism, right after her smashing hit “Roar.” The track features Katy’s powerful and passionate vocals that burst with emotion as she cries, “I will love you…unconditionally.”

And while we’re waiting for Prism to hit the stores on October 22, at least we can enjoy the lyric video for her new single. You know… to keep us occupied and all emotional…
