Lady Gaga and the Muppets are joining forces this holiday season for the ABC special Lady Gaga & the Muppets' Holiday Spectacular.
It won’t just be the beloved Muppets and Mother Monster, viewers who tune in will also catch a glimpse of special guests Elton John, Don Jon star Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and RuPaul.
According to Hollywood.com, the special will feature a mixture of songs from Gaga’s new album ARTPOP, which includes singles like “Applause,” and traditional holiday songs.
In a statement, Gaga relayed her excitement for the special. “I was so excited when ABC called me about doing a holiday special this year,” she said, LA Times reports.
“I knew it just wouldn't be a complete night of laughter and memories without the Muppets! Can't wait to see the gang again and I hope Miss Piggy's still not mad about Kermit. We're just friends!"
Back in 2011, Gaga participated in a Thankgiving special called A Very Gaga Thanksgiving. The new special will air on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28 at 9:30 p.m. on ABC.
