The Heat beat the Pistons 112-107 in this preseason matchup as Michael Beasley took the floor with the team who drafted him in his second chance in Miami.

Beasley didn't see the floor until there were about five minutes to go in the third quarter, but he took advantage of his time. In his third quarter time alone he scored nine points including a three-point play, According to the Sun Sentinel. He also dove to the hardwood for a loose ball and posted up Charlie Villanueva for two points.

The forward was drafted second overall by the Heat in 2008, then sent to the Minnesota Timberwolves, then to the Phoenix Suns, then finally back to Miami.

"It was fun," said Beasley. "I didn't think I was going to play. It was the first time back. I'm trying to find my way."

Although Beasley had a nice little debut, Bosh stole the show with 28 points. The Associated Press reports that James Jones added 12 points, Dwayne Wade had eight, and Lebron James and Beasley both ended with nine. James also had seven assists.
