Miley Cyrus tops both the UK single and album charts, the first to do so this year.

MSN reports that Cyrus grabbed the top spot on the singles chart with her song "Wrecking Ball." She also grabbed the top spot with her album Bangerz.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cyrus is also set for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

He album has sold over 250,000 copies, and will possibly reach to 265,000 by the end of the tracking week.

The new top 10 will be revealed on Wednesday, Oct. 16, and the full chart will be renewed the following day.

One Republic's song "Counting Stars" went from No. 1 to No. 3 on the UK chart. Eminem's "Berzerk" went up to No. 2.

Cyrus' 2010 album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 102,000 copies sold the first week.

Cyrus is finding herself in the rank with other female pop artists like Rihanna, Britney Spears, and P!nk, who have all made it to the number 1 spot in the past with over 250,000 copies sold.
