Game of Thrones rogue Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has been tapped to star in Susanne Bier's Danish drama A Second Chance.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Second Chance will see Bier and Anders Thomas Jensen, her writing partner from In a Better World, team up again. The movie will be produced by Zentropa Entertainments14's Sisse Graum Jorgensen.
According to Deadline, the film's plot will ask the question of what someone would do in a tragic situation blurs the line between right and wrong.
Bier's next movie is the recently finished drama Serena, which stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. Bier also directed and co-wrote with Jensen the comedy Love Is All You Need, starring Pierce Brosnan.
A Second Chance will be Coster-Waldau's first Danish starring role in over a decade, which THR notes was a movie that was co-written by Jensen. Coster-Waldau can still be seen - that's a feat - in the upcoming season of Game of Thrones as well as Gods of Egypt. He appeared in Headhunters and Oblivion most recently.
