Paul McCartney has recruited some famous friends for the music video for his new single “Queenie Eye.” The former Beatle features stars such as former couple Johnny Depp and model Kate Moss in the video for the new song off of New.
In the Simon Aboud-directed video, McCartney sings with the help of Sean Penn, Meryl Streep, Jeremy Irons, Jude Law, Tom Ford and model Lily Cole.
The video is filmed in a familiar place, Studio 2 at Abbey Road, The Mirror reports.
McCartney has explained the meaning behind the song, which goes back to his days growing up in Liverpool, England. "Those kind of things always stick with you. I always liked the rhythm of the chant,” he explained of the lyrics "Queenie eye, queen eye, who's got the ball? It isn't in my pocket. O-U-T spells OUT."
Rolling Stone notes the stars pop up at different times throughout the video and eventually looks to be one big party. Depp appears at one point to be listening to the song through headphones at the foot of McCartney’s piano.
