Singer and dancer Paula Abdul has found a new judging table, this time Down Under. The former American Idol and X-Factor judge will now be judging the Australian edition of So You Think You Can Dance.

"Aussie dancers are without a doubt some of the best in the world, and it is an honour for me to be a part of finding Australia's best dancer,” Abdul said in a statement, reports the Australian Associated Press.

Her fellow judges are choreographer Jason Gilkison, former Tap Dog Aaron Cash and entertainer Shannon Holtzapffel. The show is hosted by The Project’s Carrie Bickmore.

According to Deadline, Fox had hired Abdul as a guest judge on the American version of SYTYCD this past summer.

Abdul had been a judge on the first eight seasons of American Idol and Simon Cowell decided to work with her again on the first season of the American X-Factor. However, she was replaced by Britney Spears, who also only lasted one season on the show.

Although SYTYCD’s ratings this past season weren’t great, the American edition was picked up for an 11th season. The next season of the Australian edition kicks off next year.
