Drake has reportedly fired rapper Future from his upcoming "Would You Like a Tour?" tour.
Evidently the issue that sparked the dismissal might revolve around Future's comments towards Drake's new album Nothing Was the Same, according to the New York Post's Page Six.
The comments were posted in tweets by Billboard's Erika Ramirez who talked to Future recently about his album Honest. She quotes Future as saying, "'Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn't grab you. They're not possessive; they don't make you feel the way I do' - Future."
Future's reps quickly claimed the comments were made off the record, but the tweets were not deleted, only the online article was edited. Reportedly Drake was so angry that he wanted Future fired, then decided to keep him on if he made financial concessions.
Future wasn't keen on that idea. Instead, Future is now suing Drake for lost wages, Rolling Stone reports. Future was set to make $40,000 a show, or about $1.5 million for the tour.
The "Would You Like a Tour?" tour is set to begin Friday in Pittsburgh after being delayed last month. Future's replacement has not been announced.
