Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga appeared on The Wendy Williams Show ahead of the Bravo show’s reunion and talked about her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice’s legal problems.

Gorga, who is married to Giudice’s brother Joe, said that Giudice’s husband’s comments about who the kids would go to if they did go to jail on their 39 criminal counts was petty.

Williams told Gorga she felt “a slap in my face” for her, and Gorga replied, “I think it was a dig. I feel like it was a petty comment. Wherever they go it’s fine. It is what it is.”

She also said of her sister-in-law, “Listen will we ever be absolutely best friends? I wish we would. We’re trying for the kids. She’s in a difficult situation, I’m just here to support.”

When asked if their tumultuous relationship can ever be saved, Gorga said “I always try to put two feet forward.” She also said if she thinks they’re guilty of the wide ranging charges, saying “I don’t know. No I don’t know the situation. They say they’re not. They’re ready to fight it.”
