We had the opportunity to try out costumes for two of my daughters current favorite obsessions - Sofia the First and Doc Mc. Stuffins. To say that my daughter was thrilled when these arrived was an understatement!
While the quality on the Sofia dress was not great, considering that she will probably wear it one night, it wasn't a deal breaker for me. She has already tried it on at least half a dozen times, and while the seams are starting to fray, it has held up relatively well all things considered. After all, she is 2, so she's a little hard on things! The $24.99 price tag seems a little high for the quality, but considering Sofia is a hot ticket item this fall, this is about on par, if not less than I have seen other places.
The Doc Mc. Stuffins costume is a little bit more substantial and comes with a headband and stethoscope to accessorize. The little lab coat will be staying in the dress up bin long after halloween, making this costume a much better value for the price. This costume retails for $36.99, and you do get a better quality product for the extra money.
