The Steelers get a much needed win over Geno Smith and the Jets.

The Steelers won 19-6 as Ben Roethlisberger connected with Emanuel Sanders for a 55-yard touchdown pass and Shaun Suisham kicked four field goals. The Steelers believe this could be the first win of many this season.

"We're not going to quit," defensive end Brett Keisel said. "Obviously, it wasn't the start we wanted, but the men in this locker room believe there's a chance that something great could come out of this if we all work toward it."

The Steelers 0-4 start was their worst since 1968 when they dropped their first six games, according to ESPN. They finished that season 2-11-1.

"It's tough because when you have that zero, your mind automatically goes to, 'Let's get this first win,' " safety Ryan Clark said. "Now, you're just trying to win each game and there's not as much pressure on each and every play."

The Jets are beginning to show some sort of a pattern, alternating wins and losses every week. It has been a very up and down season for the Jets, and if this pattern is to keep up, they will have to take down the Patriots next week, NY Times reports.

“We talk about wanting to be a playoff team,” linebacker Calvin Pace said. “But to be a playoff team, you’ve got to win more than one game. If you win one, lose one, you’re going to end up 8-8. We have to be better than that.”
