Taylor Swift has contributed the largest donation from an individual artist to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tenn.
The “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer, 23, donated $4 million to open the Taylor Swift Education Center.
Swift did the honors of cutting the big red ribbon and officially opening the facility on Saturday, Oct. 12, Just Jared reports.
Swift explained that when she wrote her very first song, she felt a sense of inclusion and that’s what she aims to give others. "I felt like I fit in somewhere,” she told museum director Kyle Young, Country Weekly reports.
The Taylor Swift Education Center is complete with three classrooms, an interactive library that will open next year and an art area. There will be music workshops provided there, as well as a musical petting zoo.
She even donated some of her own personal pieces she’s collected over the years, such as a 12-string acoustic guitar.
Swift signed a record deal in 2005 and has gone on to achieve immense success as a teenager and a young adult.
