One of the most anticipated concert series of the year, the Bridge School Benefit announced that the first day of the two-day series will stream live on the internet.
The 27th Annual Bridge School Benefit concert will take place on October 26th and 27th in Mountain View, California at the Shoreline Amphitheater, and the Saturday show will stream live on YouTube. The benefit was created by Neil Young and his wife Pegi, who started it in 1986 for a school that educates children with severe speech and physical impairments. The concert promotes all acoustic sets and musicians come from a wide variety of genres with artists from The Who to Tony Bennett, Metallica to David Bowie, and everyone in between. This year's line-up is just as impressive with Heart, fun., Arcade Fire, My Morning Jacket, Queens of a Stone Age, Elvis Costello, Jenny Lewis, Jack Johnson and Diana Krall. Headlining will be Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, their first time together since their 2006 tour. As an added bonus, the webcast will be available for replay on Monday the 28th through Wednesday the 30th, and will include Tom Waits performance from the Sunday show.
