Tyga’s last album Hotel California came out spring this year and he’s already preparing to drop another album which is set to drop Spring 2014. To announce his new album, he released a new single featuring Justin Bieber.
Tyga stopped by Power 106 to announce his new album and premiere the firs single “Wait For A Minute” which features Justin Bieber.
Tyga has worked with Justin Bieber before, they have a song together called “Stuck in the Moment” that came out 2 years ago. Tyga likes to work with Justin Bieber more especially now at this point in his career. Tyga even compared Bieber to Justin Timberlake after his NSYNC days working with Timbaland and Pharrell. This song was supposed to be for Bieber originally but now will hold a place on Tyga’s new album The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty.
Tyga told Yesi Ortiz, “That’s the new mature Bieber, so I just felt like it was great to do a record with him at this turning point in his career. Musically it just reminds me of when Timberlake got with Pharrell, when he went from NSYNC to Justin Timberlake.”
According to In Flex We Trust the album will arrive spring 2014.
“It’s gonna be more kinda how like Careless World, my first album was… Its way less commercial. I felt like Hotel California was more commercial and I made more radio-type records. This album is straight rap,” Tyga said.
