After retiring from the rap game for religious reasons, it looks like 38-year-old former Bad-Boy records rapper Ma$e is getting ready to release a new album by the end of this year or early next year.

This is not the first time rapper Ma$e has planned his comeback. Back in 2004, after a 4-year hiatus, he came back with a new album Welcome Back led by single “Welcome Back.” After falling off again, he tried coming back in 2009 by appearing on popular R&B remixes. Now it’s 2013, and he’s been working with some popular Hip Hop artists. He was featured on 2 Chainz sophomore album, featured on Meek Mill’s Dream Chasers 3 mixtape and has been working with Drake. Pusha T even paid homage by borrowing Ma$e’s flow for his song with Kelly Rowland on his album.

According to Hip Hop DX Ma$e revealed to his fans via his twitter account that he is gearing up to release a new album called Now We Even.

Ma$e explained that this new album will be influence by his early freestyles and songs. It will also be influenced by The Notorious B.I.G.’s Ready To Die, Tupac’s All Eyez On Me and Jay Z’s Reasonable Doubt.

Besides his influences, he hopes to include Lauryn Hill, 2 Chainz, Seal, Cee-Lo Green, Diddy, Meek Mill, Ariana Grande, Fabolous, Jay Z or Drake, and Beyoncé or Destiny’s Child.

Karen Civil also confirmed that there are official features, release date and what label it will be released on. It sure will be a good one.
