Thor: The Dark World made over $109.4M in 36 territories overseas this past weekend.

Deadline.com reported that with this $109.4M this helped to take Disney’s international box office on the year beyond its previous all time $2.302B record. Disney still has two months of cash counting to go.

Thor: The Dark World opened at number one in France, the UK, Korea, Germany, Spain, Taiwan, Australia, Russia and Mexico.

Variety added that this reps the fourth consecutive year Disney has topped $2 billion internationally.

Thor: The Dark World stars Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman once again in the Marvel franchise. Thor: The Dark World is another film from Marvel that focuses on what happens to the characters after the Avengers fought for New York in the first Avengers film. This will all be leading up to the second Avengers film.

Thor: The Dark World opens in the United States on Friday.
